Premium Limits:

The bondsman can only accept payment for the premium, which is capped at 15% of the bond’s face value. However, there is a minimum charge of either $100 or 10% of the bond, whichever is greater. This fee must be paid before the bond is executed.

Additional Conditions:

Any costs or payments required to fulfill the conditions of the bond beyond the premium are not included in the bondsman's premium. These additional charges, such as fees related to monitoring or other services, may still be collected from the defendant.

While the premium is regulated, the bondsman may collect other fees without being restricted by the premium's limitations. These charges are lawful and necessary for meeting the conditions of the bond.
